"The first time I remember hearing The Doors was when i was 7 but I didn’t realize who they were until I heard them again when i was 14, ever since then The Doors have been a very big part of my life. Jim’s voice would sooth me when nothing else would, I’d feel childish when comparing my sadness to the one Jim must have gone through when singing his songs, and of course every song has a different mood, but to relate to those moods I’d find comfort that I wasn’t the only one who felt like a fool in love or insignificant in the greater part of life. I don’t know but The Doors have influenced me greatly and I’m thankful for that. My only regret is that I wasn’t born early enough to see them at least once in concert"
